deniz kokulu, martı sesli, bir yaz akşamı hisli pink floy sesi. bir yandan comfortably numb ile duygulanan, time ile düşünen ve high hopes ile kızan alkollü bünye bu şarkı ile dinginliği seçer.

tek kelimeyle mükemmeldir. ne kadar anı sanı duyulmamış olsa da pink floyd'un en bi süper eserlerinden biridir. kelimelerle nasıl anlatayım diye kara kara düşünmeye itendir.

(bkz: A Momentary Lapse Of Reason) albümüne berbat diyen insanlar dönüp bir kez daha dinlemesini önerebileceğim şarkıdır. Evet, asla sevilmeyecek bazı şarkılar var ama on the turning away ve bunun gibi 4-5 şarkı gerçekten fena değil. Ayrıca live in gdansk kayıtlarında görüyoruz ki david gilmour'un 20 yıldan sonra hala söylerken coştuğu* parçadır.
