tom araya babanın şu hard core vokal hastalığına kapıldığından beri bir öncekinden farklı olmayan albümlerinden birisi daha. diabolus tan beri böyleler. south of heaven 1988 ten beri hala aynı heyecanla dinlenirken bu albume en fazla 1-2 yıl veriyorum, sonra raflardaki yerini alır.
böyle efsane adamların hala aynı çizgide durup, milim şaşmadan, aynı albümlere imza atması takdir edilecek bir şey ama albümü bir kere dinledim ve diğer albümlerdeki aldığım hazzı alamadım. tabi bir kaç kez dinleyerek bu albümü de çok seveceğimi bildiğimden şimdilik hayalkırıklığına benzer bir durumda değilim. slayer gibi gruplardaki bu müzik sevdası kim de var ki? o yüzden bok atmak bana düşmez! bundan sonra metallica, slayer, judas priest, motorhead, iron maiden, kreator... bok olsa; o bok bile yemeye değer!
"haydi çık artık!" dediğim albüm. internete düşen şarkılar içinde hate worldwide'ı ayrı bir sevdim. o nasıl bir nakarattır. nakaratın tekrarında eklenen trampetler nasıl gaz bir havaya sokmuş şarkıyı. işte öyle bir şey. çok cani bir albüm geliyor. geri sayıma başladık.
efsane grup babaların babası slayerın bu yıl eylülde çıkaracağı 10. stüdyo albümü. kerry king albümle ilgili olarak daha çok season in the abyss albümüne benzer bir albüm olacak şeklinde konuşmuş. psychopathy redin ardından hate worldwide isimli parça yayımlanmıştır. albümde bulunan şarkılardan ismi açıklananlar ise şöyle:
