2008 yapımı, Dominik cumhuriyetli beysbol yıldızı Miguel "Şeker" Santos 'un amerika gençler ligine dahil olup hayallerini gerçekleştirmek için yaşadıklarını izlediğimiz bir dram filmi. Spor filminden ziyede hayallere ve hayal kırıklıklarına dair film. Sugar hayali new York'a gidip yankilerde oynamak olan, para kazanıp fakir annesine bakmak isteyen, sevgilisini de new York'a götürüp evlenmek isteyen bir delikanlı. neredeyse her Dominikli gibi çocukluğundam itibaren beysbol için yetiştiriliyor, amerikadan gelen gözlemciler yaklaşık 20 çocuğu liglere götürüyor ve bunlardan sadece 2 tanesi bir takıms dahil oluyor. O 20 kişiden biri de Sugar oluyor fakat prfesyonellik ve takıma dahil olmak sandığı gibi değil. Bilirsiniz ülkemize afrika'dan siyahi futbolcular gelir ve bir süre sonra bunları işportacı olarak görürüz. Fazla bir şey anlatmayayım.
