10 mayıs 1931de doğmuş italyan sinema yönetmeni ve senaristtir. film endüstrisine 1953te senarist olarak giriş yapmıştır. ilk filmi 1964te çekilen lets talk about the womendır. 1974te we all loved each other so much filmi ile büyük bir başarıya imza atmış, 1976da ise cannes film festivalinde ugly, dirty and bad filmi ile en iyi yönetmen ödülünü kazanmıştır.
