Ünlü bir amerikali gitarist. "Buckethead" ismi ile taninir.
13 mayis 1969 tarihinde dogmustur. Genelde solist olarak calisir. Guns N Roses (2000-2004), Bill Laswell, Bootsy Collins ve Serj Tankian gibi ünlü isimlerle beraber de calismistir.
Albümlerinde cok degisik gitarstili gelistirdigini fark etmemek mümkün degildir. Trash müzik, metal, punk, jazz ve elektronik avangart karisimi gibi.
kariyerine 1988´de demosong isimli amerikan gitarist dergisinde yayinlanarak basladi. gazeteci jaz obrecht, yeteneginin farkina varir ve onunla arkadas olur. gazeteci obrecht´in evinde kayitlar düzenlenmeye baslanir. 15 yil sonra piyasaya cikacak olan young buckethead ve acoustic shards icin calisilmaktadir.
Bir kac kendi cikarmis oldugu demolardan sonra, kendi ekibi ile Deli Creeps ve Henry Kaiser, Will Ackerman, Derek Bailey
gibi isimlerin sayesinde deneme albümü cikarmistir.
Mortal Combat ve Schwarzeneger´in bulundugu bir cok filmlerindeki müziklerde imzasi vardir.
2008 yilinin subat ayindan itibaren tekrar düzenli olarak konser vermeye baslamistir.
