Konsept albüm ve siyasi metin olarak Roger Waters ve ekibin büyük bir eseri olan albümdür animals. Özellikle dogs ve pigs (three different ones) muhteşem parçalardır. Fakat grubun kendi içindeki kırılmaya başladığı da bu albümde anlaşılabilir. Zira albümde çok başarılı bir performans çıkaran David Gilmour sadece dogs şarkısının yarısını söyleyebilmiştir.
