he is the first member of the house of osman to be born in exile. after his parents separation, his father died in 1931, and his mother hadice sadiye (kabitache, 1 april 1898 9 august 1986) remarried a us citizen. in 1941 he moved to the united states with his mother, older brother and two stepbrothers.
he has served in the us army and worked in a library in new york city, new york.
