"çekirdek kitleye yönelik ilk albüme benzer sert ve kıllı albüm yapacağız" diyerek bizi beklentiye sokan dokuz hayvanın beklenenin aslına pekte sert olmayan fakat yinede sevilen taze albümü. albümün içindeki kendini sevdiren şarkılar; gematria, sulfur, this cold black, butcher's hook ve önceden single'ı çıkan psychosocial. bunların dışında aralara serpiştirdikleri slow şarkılarda hoş olmuş. gehenna, snuff ve 'til we die'ın ardından benim favorim olan child of burning time ile en az hayvan oldukları kadar duygusal olduklarınıda açıkça görebilirsiniz. bu işide kıvırabildiklerini zamanında vermillion pt. 2 ile kanıtlamışlardı zaten.
çıkmadan önce netten indirdiğim albümdür. sulfur, psychosocial, dead memories, butcher's hook, all hope is gone şarkıları bana göre albümü taşıyan şarkılar olur. gayet başarılı bir albüm. bana göre albümün en iyisi sulfur, bu parçada clean vokal ve back vokalleri çok iyi kullanmışlar nakaratta. insana hüzünlü bir gaza gelme hissi veriyor. joey* zaten yine döktürmüş. albümün bonus şarkıları da çok güzel.
joey'in harika bir performans sergilediği albümdür. zira herkes harikadır. bambaşka bir tarz çıkmıştır ortaya. artık metale yakındır slipknot. fakat eski farklı ötesi tarzlarından da esintiler her şarkıda vardır. this cold black özellikle.
çok klişe çok zübük bir ingilizce kavram. tüm umutlar tükendi. her şey mahvoldu. hani uzaklardan bir yerden bir hasktir duyar ya insan, işte öyle bir şey.
albümle aynı adı taşıyan şarkı. sözleri de şöyledir:
