1967 yazında listelere bir numaradan giren procol harumşarkısı. 40. yılını doldurmasına rağmen gönül listelerinde aynı rakamı rezerv etmiştir. Kır düğünlerinin ilk dans şarkısı olarak kullanıldığı sıklıkla görülmektedir.

who took neptune for a ride.'
but she smiled at me so sadly
that my anger straightway died

seemed to slip straight through my head
so we crash-dived straightway quickly

1967'de procol harum tarafından kaydedilmiş, çıktığı yıl ingiltere'de 1, abd'de 5 numara olmuştur. hammond orgu da kullanılan parça, johann sebastian bach'ın air on the g string olarak bilinen d major 3. süiti ile (bwv 1068) sleepers awake olarak bilinen wachet auf, ruft uns die stimme (bwv 140) eserlerinden esinlenmiştir. bu ve kullanılan enstruman, parçayı kulağa yatkın kılan unsurların başında gelir.
